This week we bring you a special patch which many of you have been looking forward to: We have made improvements for all our classes! We hope you like these new class balance changes, and as usual we will keep an eye on your feedback. Thank you to those who offered up ideas and suggestions!

Also, a new mystery arises beneath the summer sun once more. Starting this Friday, join the global race to solve the Mysteries of Summer and help your region be the first to finish!

[Content]

While the Red Battlefield was previously set up in a way that assigned battlefields to each server, today's update now changes this into a single, combined form. As a result, you will now be able to enter the Red Battlefield of your choosing without having to switch servers. Thanks to this new format, the Red Battlefield will now be able to have new layouts. There's probably many of you who feel the current map is boring now, so we will do our best to introduce new layouts as quickly as possible for you to enjoy.

 

  • Added a new Marni server where you can enjoy the Red Battlefield.

    • Go to the ESC menu > Red Battlefield to be moved to the Red Battlefield on the Marni server. Moving to the Marni server is unaffected by the cooldown for switching servers.

    • There will be a total of 10 open battlefields in the Marni server Red Battlefield, and the server names that used to be displayed in the Red Battlefield window were changed to the battlefield names.

    • You will now be able to participate in the Red Battlefield while in a server with an ongoing Node/Conquest War.

    • The Limited Red Battlefield no longer allows further participants.

    • The Red Battlefield rewards will be obtainable once the Red Battlefield finishes properly.

    • If there are less than 2 people at the start of the Red Battlefield, the Red Battlefield will end after 1 minute has passed and you will be returned to your original location before entering the Red Battlefield.

[All Classes]

We've carried out improvements in all our classes. It's a special occasion for us as the update is based on the opinions of adventurers who participated in our focus group testing and we'd like to take this opportunity to express our thanks to them. Many of the ideas were deliberated in-depth and extensively among our staff to ensure that the following changes would contribute to the overall balance of the game.

Today's updates focus on improving each class, especially their performance of certain skills. In order to compensate for the decreasing DP efficiency since the release of Succession, we've revised the Damage Reduction Rate effect per DP range. However, the difficulty of some monster zones may drop too sharply due to this so this change may be subject to adjustments. The Extra AP effect per AP range has also been raised slightly to go with the new rise in defense efficiency. Furthermore, the base AP of summoned creatures has been set to 100 since the summoner's Extra AP did not apply to their damage, making them relatively weaker compared to the summoner as they progress in the game. Lastly, to players who are interested in news regarding Awakening related damages, we plan to closely observe the new increases in defense efficiency and further adjust the Awakening skills' damage based on the collected data after the update. There are still so many suggestions from the players that we haven't entirely worked out yet but we plan to present them through the Global Lab as soon as we develop them.

  • Added the martial artist Yulho of the Kingdom of Haso to the Pit of the Undying.

    • Yulho has a low chance of appearing to fight you at the Pit of the Undying.

    • Defeating Yulho will award a greater amount of Seal of the Undying than usual.

 

 

  • According to agents of Barhan Nesser patrolling Valencia, Crescent Chief Gatekeepers of Crescent Shrine, Desert Naga Chief Gatekeepers of Desert Naga Temple, Desert Fogan Chief Gatekeepers of Titium Valley, and Cadry Chief Gatekeepers of Cadry Ruins recently took part in Argos's ritual of blood and have been reborn. The agents are not sure exactly how strong these gatekeepers are, but witnesses claim it took five adventurers clad in Tuvala gear to barely take one down.

    • According to Barhan's agents, these gatekeepers newly reborn from the ritual of blood have become strong enough to immediately resurrect themselves after being defeated.
