  • Each kill will count as one point.

  • You can only gain one point per player.

  • The kill limit on a player will be reset daily throughout the week.

  • Kills will not count in the arena or surrounding areas. (Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, Etc.)

  • The total points from each player within the Team will be added together for the total score.

  • The seeding will be made from the total score of each team, the top four teams will be separated into different Round-robin brackets. The next four teams will be done in the same fashion until each team has been seeded.

  • Your kills will count even if you have not signed up, provided your registration is completed prior to closing of the sign up page.

Tournament Arc:

The first stages of the tournament will be the sixteen teams, from the Arsha Trials, split into four Round-robin segments. The top two teams from each stage will go onto a Knock-out tournament.

The points you gain within the Round-robin section are determined by the number of rounds you win in each match. With the potential for three teams to tie, we will then decide on the amount of time each match took. The team with the most time taken for each match will lose, If it's two teams coming to a draw, it will be a sudden death one-match takes the win.

Each bracket will take place on different days, for example:

   1. Monday

   2. Tuesday

   3. Thursday

   4. Friday

When proceeding to the knockout stage the winners will be sorted into matches that favours the winners of the stage prior to this. Winners will fight runner-ups from different groups.

The knockout Tournament will proceed on Saturday. Each match in the Quarter-finals will be a best of three, first to two. The Semi-finals will be a best of five, first to three. The Finals will be a best of nine, first to five points.

F1. Combatants will be participating in Matches which will be made up of a varying number of Rounds depending on the stage of the Tournament.

F2. A Round is a single instance of Combat within the arena, the team who wins the Round will claim a point. After Each Round, the teams may choose to substitute Combatants in and out from their team roster.

F3. The match ends once one team has acquired more then half the available points (2 of 3, 3 of 5, 4 of 7 etc)

G. Teams will be allowed 2 disconnects and on the third disconnect there will be penalties, this will reset each match within the tournament.

G1. In the case of a Disconnection prior to the match start, this will count as not showing up for the match and combatants will have 5 minutes to join. If they are not successful in reconnecting they will be unable to participate in the match.

G2. If a Combatant disconnects during the Round, the instance will be stopped and reset once the Combatant returns. The Combatant will be given 5 minutes to reconnect, if the Combatant fails to reconnect within the allotted time or disconnects for the third time the Combatant will no longer be able to participate in the Match. If the Combatant disconnects after death within the Round, the Round will continue and the Combatant will be given 5 minutes after the Round finishes to reconnect.

G3. If Combatants from both teams disconnect at the same time, each team will lose one of their disconnections.

G4. In the event that the Team exceeds the number of disconnects, the following actions will be taken:

G4.1 The affected Combatant will no longer be able to participate in the Match they disconnected from. If the Combatants team proceeds to the next match, the Combatant              can rejoin their team.

G4.2.If in the case that more than 2 Combatants exceed the maximum disconnection limit, the team will forfeit the Match. If the Match was within the Round-robin phase,               the winning team will be awarded maximum points. The losing team will keep the points they gained until the maximum disconnection limit was reached.

G5. Any Combatant found to abuse the above Disconnection Event Policy to affect the outcome of the Match results in any way, will be subject to judgement and disciplinary action at the sole discretion of the tournament organisers, including but not limited to disqualification, suspension from future events, and revocation of prizes.

H. Each team will be given a ‘Pause’ per Match, this will stop the round and the ‘Referee’ will conduct an investigation.

H1. A ‘Pause’ can be used once per Match by each Team, this will reset the Round. It is used so the Referee can investigate the issue that the Combatant is having.

H2. The Referee will be the organizer and moderator of the match. Referees will have sole discretion when it comes to disputes during a match/round.

H3. To use the Pause function, a Combatant on the Team must type ‘PAUSE!’ in the ‘Arsha’ chat. Only the phrase “PAUSE!” or subset spellings and capitalizations of the phrase “PAUSE!” will result in a Pause being called - any alternative text communications will not result in a Pause being called and may be punishable under the clause of “Sportsmanship and Behaviour”. This will be down to the sole discretion of the Referee.

H4. Appropriate use of Pause is limited to in-game or out-of-game issues that directly impact a Combatants ability to continue the active Round. Appropriate use of Pause includes, but are not limited to: In-Game graphical errors, loss of player control or functionality, out-of-game emergency situations, suspicion of cheating/exploitation of game mechanics, or similar situations. Pauses should not be used to address connectivity issues or Disconnection events as these events are handled in the above rulings.

H5. When a Pause is successfully called, the active Round will be reset, and the current score will be frozen. Referees will collect grievances from the pausing Team, and from the other team if needed, and issue a ruling based on the gathered information. Any grievances with the ruling can be discussed with the organizers once the match is finished.

H6. If a pause request is successful the roster for that round must remain as it was at the start of the paused round. This means neither team can substitute for the reset round.

H7. After the conclusion of a pause investigation, a paused Match will be restarted from the active Round, preserving the previous Match score. This means that any Combatant that had been killed before the pause had been called will be alive when the round begins. This is to avoid any complications generated by the pause time.

H8. Any Team found to be attempting to abuse the pause system in any facet can be penalized at the discretion of Kakao Games, this can include but is not limited to disqualification or suspension from future events or from Black Desert Online. Punishments may be applied to the individual Combatants or the Team as a whole.
